American Community Properties Trust (ACPT) is a publicly-held company with operations in the United States and Puerto Rico. Our principal lines of business include land development, including the development of large-scale planned communities in San Juan and Southern Maryland, and property management. American Rental Management Company (ARMC) is the operating company for the assets and employees in the U.S., and Interstate General Properties L.P. is the operating company for the assets and employees in Puerto Rico.

The corporate offices of ACPT are located in St. Charles, Maryland. In addition, we staff apartment management offices located in St. Charles and Baltimore, Maryland, Richmond, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. In addition to apartment management positions such as General Manager, leasing consultants, resident relations, collections and maintenance, our corporate office has positions in accounting, information systems, land development, land sales, public relations, human resources, office management and general administration.
